FAQ

Please find below, answers to the most frequently asked questions:

1. DO YOU ISSUE TICKETS?
Yes tickets are emailed as the booking confirmation. Once full payment has been received, you will get another confirmation.  However you do not have to print out the tickets, just give the name of the person who booked the event to the host on the night.

2. IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?
The age limit is 18yrs and over, unless stated otherwise.

3. ARE THERE BEDS ON YOUR GHOST HUNTS?
There are no sleeping facilities unless stated. Our events involve being awake most or all of the night. Some events do specify a sleepover option, when we advise you take a sleeping bag at the very least, as most locations are not heated or might not have enough beds.

4. AM I GUARANTEED TO SEE A GHOST?
Unfortunately the paranormal is something that you cannot just demand. However using our techniques, expertise and many years experience, we will be placing you in situations that encourage paranormal experiences. Many people have left our events being firm believers in the paranormal after having very intense experiences on the night.

5. I CANNOT FIND OUT HOW TO BOOK USING MY MOBILE PHONE.  CAN YOU HELP ME?
Whilst we try to make the booking process as easy as possible, on some mobile phones you will need to scroll to the right at the bottom of the event page to see the “BOOK” button in the lower right hand corner of the calendar and date box. Alternatively use your phone in the landscape position.

6. IS YOUR ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM SECURE?
It is very secure and provided by RBS WorldPay – the world’s number one solution for e-commerce. During busy periods we may not be able to take your call but our 24 hour online booking service is fully operational and secure.

7. WHAT IF MY EVENT GETS CANCELLED? 
We try to never cancel an event, but in certain circumstances it is unavoidable. If an event is cancelled, you will receive an email from our booking system telling you so. You are automatically moved to a listing titled “THIS IS NOT AN EVENT!” and you will not receive any Joining Instructions for the event you were going on.

In this case please contact the organiser and inform them if you wish to move to a new date scheduled for the same location or to move to a different event altogether! Choose an event from our Ghost Hunt section you would like to attend and text or email both your organiser and Head Office on 07852 998628 or office@frightnights.co.uk.

Your tickets will then be moved and a new confirmation will be sent out from our booking system! Until you receive this, your tickets will be on hold for up to 12 months when they will then be automatically deleted from the system. In the case of cash refunds the booking system deducts a 10% handling fee to process.

8. HOW DO I REDEEM A GIFT VOUCHER? 
Choose an event from our Ghost Hunt section you would like to attend and email office@frightnights.co.uk with the information below, we do not accept voucher bookings over the telephone, however if you have an enquiry regarding your booking please email, text or call 07852 998628 with:-

a)  What type of voucher you have (Fright Nights or Virgin Experience), the voucher code/serial number and if applicable the PIN number.
b)  Your name, address and email address, names of anyone attending with you and your mobile number in case of any issues on the night.

Once we have received this information we will confirm your booking by email.

We cannot usually refund or transfer vouchers so please make sure you can attend the date chosen before booking.

We recommend you keep your voucher for future reference.

PLEASE BOOK BEFORE YOUR VOUCHER EXPIRY DATE EVEN IF THE EVENT IS AFTER IT EXPIRES.

YOU CANNOT BOOK AN EVENT ONCE THE VOUCHER HAS EXPIRED AND NO REMINDERS ARE SENT.
