Let us take a trip back through to time to the early 1900’s, a smog-shrouded era of elegance, sophistication, magic and mystery! The 1900’s were a time of both superstition and industrial progress, where the promise of new wonders lay around each and every street corner, and freak shows vied with temperance movements for the attention of a wide-eyed public. Jack the Ripper’s reign of terror in London’s East End had just come to an end, Harry Houdini was touring the theatres and playhouses of England, Sherlock Holmes was thrilling the readers of the Strand magazine, the cursed tomb if Tutankhamum had only recently been unearthed and in the drawing rooms and ballrooms of the great and the good, magicians, illusionists, mind-readers and mediums were considered to be the entertainment of choice.
Fright Nights are pleased to announce a wondrous Easter event, taking place in the grand hall of Middleton Hall. Guests will enjoy a sumptuous silver service two course meal while being entertained by the very best magicians, mind-readers and hypnotists in the land. You will gasp in awe and wonder as magical miracles are performed before your very eyes!
The grand hall will be lit by dozens of candles, helping to recreate the classical atmosphere of a by-gone era. Guests are also encouraged to dress for dinner in their finery, although of course this is optional. You will be entertained by four mysterious entertainers whose prowess and ability make them among the best in the land!
Throughout the meal you will be introduced to Mr. David Taylor, a member of the legendary Magic Circle and illusionist par excellence, Mr. Paul Bell, Fright Nights favourite and mind-reading host for the evening, Mr. Anthony Jacquin, an extremely talented young hypnotist whose latest book “Reality is Plastic” has caused a huge stir within the magical community, and finally you will be introduced to Evanna, an up and coming female illusionist with a penchant for the dark side!

11.00 – 11.30 Spooky magic routine from Evanna
11.30 – 12.00 Closing routine and thank you’s from Paul Bell
