Fright Nights and Theatre of Ophidia presents an immersive theatrical production in the haunted grounds of Dudley Castle in which many of its ghosts will walk the earth once more.
The Ballad of Spring Heeled Jack begins with meeting our main character, the Reverend Cox who takes the audience on a journey through the ghosts, hauntings and folklore of the Black Country. During the journey the audience will witness many of the popular ghost stories of the castle come alive as we follow the life and times of Reverend Cox and his startling encounters with the mysterious Spring Heeled Jack.
Theatre of Ophidia have created a site specific performance based on the recorded stories from the historic Black Country that will leave its audiences entertained and terrified!
We are very happy to announce that involved in the performance is the Matthew Boulton College, a centre of Vocational Excellence, specialising in the performing arts. The students are creating a special ten-minute performance designed on their visits to the castle and its alleged hauntings.
If you enjoy classic ghost stories with a seriously dark twist - you will love The Ballad of Spring Heeled Jack!
