Description

NEW DATE 11th FEB 2023

Join us for our first visit to The Solway Aviation Museum, Carlisle Airport, has a collection of aircraft, aviation artefacts and displays of Britain’s position as leaders in aircraft design and innovation at the dawn of the jet age. It is also extremely haunted giving guests the best event experience they could ask for.

The Solway Aviation Museum is an independently run aircraft museum, run by The Solway Aviation Society Ltd and staffed by unpaid volunteers.  Following the closure of the RAF Millom Museum many of the artefacts were moved to The Solway Aviation Museum for safe keeping and eventual exhibitions when space permits. The Museum is now the sole aviation Museum left in Cumbria.
With all the aviation exhibits and artifacts, especially from the Second World War and also individual displays featuring the development of Blue Streak, Martin Baker ejection seats and the development and activities of the Airport itself since the Second World War, it’s no surprise that the Museum is extremely haunted.

The Solway Aviation Museum Ghost Hunt includes:
Short guided History and Hauntings Tour
Mediumship walk round – who haunts tonight?
Psychic and Ghost Hunting Equipment
Experiments including seances and glass divination
Ghost Hunting Vigils in the dark
Hot Drinks and Biscuits
Your chance to explore a haunted location at night!

We are hoping to make contact with many spirits from the second world war, but that may not be all….

There are unknown footsteps of a man walking around, that have been heard in the hanger, and with some of the artefacts, they are surrounded by eerie atmospheres and many people have felt uneasy in certain areas around the museum.  What will you feel???
