Description

Why not join the Fright Nights Suffolk team as they visit Glemham Hall for a spooky fun filled night. A magnificant Elizabethan stately home, built in 1560 by the De Glemham family, set in around 300 acres (120 ha) of park land on the outskirts of the village of Little Glemham in Suffolk, England. It is a Grade I listed building, properly called Little Glemham Hall, this is a new venue not to be missed! Hoping we have as much activity on our second visit as we did on our first!

Glemham Hall has two staircase’s leading upstairs, the less grand one has a very cold feel about it and is said to be haunted. On the first floor there are many bedrooms to be explored, some where full apparitions have been seen, and two nursery area’s still with the original toys from a by gone era, which have been seen to move on their own and children’s voice’s heard. On the next floor up is the servants living quarters where floor boards creek and cold spots are felt. Glemham Hall is not open to the general public and has never staged a Ghost Hunt event to date so we are both privileged and very excited to see what Glemham Hall has to offer.

Our Glemham Hall Ghost Hunt includes;
• Introduction – The history and hauntings
• Mediumship walkround with one of our qualified mediums – who haunts tonight?
• Psychic and Ghost Hunting Equipment
• Psychic experiments including seances, divining rods, crystal pendulums, glass divination, table tipping and more
• Ghost hunting vigils in the dark
• Hot & Cold drinks and biscuits
• Your chance to ghost hunt in a haunted location for 6 hours through the night until 2am if you can last!

Glemham Hall changed ownership in 1709 when bought by Baron Frances North then again in the latter 19th century when MP Alexander George Dickson made this home his residence. Finally in 1923 the Cobbold family purchased Glemham Hall and still own it to this day. Major Philip Hope-Cobbold is the current owner when he inherited it in 1994 from his uncle.
